Creating a Precision Website
takes a fair amount of effort. More importantly though, it takes the correct effort. While
many people start by worrying about designs, technologies and domain names, we advocate a
more organic approach.
Typical Web Design Companies
We believe that our competition has it backwards. When approached about a website, most web design companies will tell you to:
- Pick a domain name and register it.
- Sign up for a hosting plan.
- Approve one of these three site designs.
- Write your content and give it to us.
- Pay us, we're done.
After this process, you will probably have a website. But over the next few months
you will also probably have some problems with the site. You will likely discover
some or all of the following issues:
- Design elements that don't work with your content.
- Content you want to change.
- Features you would now like to add.
- Parts of your business operations that aren't incorporated.
What's the problem here? A huge lack of planning and architecture. These issues should have
been discovered before a single line of code was written.
